Found this gem by pure chance today. Pho is my favourite food and while strolling through Waterford today we passed by and we couldn’t resist going in. We had beef and chicken pho with dumplings, it was absolutely delicious
The owner was a a gent and spoke with us at length about the history of pho and Vietnamese culture

Bun Cha Journey – A Hidden Gem in Waterford!
Absolutely delicious! The food at Bun Cha Journey tastes like home – the closest thing I’ve had to a proper traditional dish in a long time. I’m Mexican, so of course I asked for chili 🌶️ (obviously!), and they delivered! It made me feel so at home.
I had the full meal – soup, salad, gyoza, and a drink – and everything was bursting with flavor. The coffee was amazing, and the honey & lime tea? Goooooshhh, unbelievably refreshing! 😍
The staff were super friendly, warm, and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they do. I seriously loved everything about this place.
Honestly, I’ll come back to Waterford just to eat here again. If you’re in town, don’t miss this place. Thank you Bun Cha Journey for such a comforting and delicious experience! 💖

Absolutely delicious! The food was fantastic full of flavour. We got Boa Buns, Bahn Mi & Spring Rolls, it was nice and filling without feeling like you’re weighed down when your finished eating. Highly recommend!
The staff are very accommodating and friendly. On several occasions the staff have openly engaged in conversation just to get to know thier regulars. Always smiles and i couldn’t praise them enough for thier welcoming service. It makes it so easy to try something new. Lovely decoration too
